Cruising Woodward Birmingham Cruise Event

The Woodward Dream Cruise draws thousands of classic cars and over one million people from all over the world. Adding to the festivities, the Birmingham Cruise Event along South Old Woodward Avenue in Downtown Birmingham, will feature nearly 200 classic cars of all makes and models, sponsor exhibits from Chevrolet and others, food vendors and more.

Birmingham's walkable, historic downtown features a wide variety of restaurants and hundreds of local and national retailers - the perfect place for car enthusiasts and their families to spend the day.

EVENT DETAILS

Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The event is located along South Old Woodward Avenue, from Maple Rd. to Lincoln Street. South Old Woodward Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic from Maple Rd. to Lincoln Street in preparation for, and during the event.

PARKING

The Birmingham Cruise Event venue is within walking distance of Birmingham's five parking structures, where the first two hours are always free. Additionally, metered parking is available throughout downtown. Parking meters are credit card and Parkmobile-enabled, for easy parking. Visit our parking map for structure locations.
