ARTISTS: ISAIAH PHILIP, DAWUD SHABAZZ & ANITA SEWELL Isaiah Philip is a Nigerian artist currently located in Detroit. Working across oil, acrylic, charcoal and mixed media, he bridges hyper-realism, conceptual figuration, and abstraction to explore portraiture as space of emotional, cultural and historical depth. Dawud Shabazz began drawing at age seven and has exhibited his work at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Shabazz works across multiple media and incorporates varied textures, allowing each idea to guide his creative process. Anita Sewell is an abstract artist who works with materials including rock, rubber, Indian ink, acrylics, and oil. Her artwork draws inspiration from childhood memories, emotions and experiences. Her pieces often convey love and happiness. |

This contemporary exhibition explores the subtle ways the divine enters our lives—through light, color, ink movement, coincidence, transformation, and intuition. Each artwork acts as a visual transmission: a fragment of meaning, a quiet revelation, or a signal open to interpretation. |
